The Division of Academic and Research Affairs (DARA) serves as the academic and intellectual arm of the Nirmaya Foundation. Established to advance research excellence, scholarly integrity, and sustainable knowledge creation, DARA governs the Foundation’s educational, editorial, and research-based endeavours across disciplines.
DARA is entrusted with promoting the Foundation’s vision of nurturing inquiry-driven, ethically grounded, and socially responsive scholarship. It oversees the development of academic journals, research initiatives, conferences, and scholarly collaborations that align with the Foundation’s Charter and values.
The Division of Academic and Research Affairs is responsible for:
Supervising all academic and research publications under the Foundation.
Upholding ethical standards in research, publication, and review processes.
Facilitating interdisciplinary projects and knowledge partnerships.
Encouraging youth-led and community-oriented research.
Promoting open access to credible, peer-reviewed scholarship.

A multidisciplinary publication devoted to research in climate science, environmental policy, and sustainable development. IJCES aims to strengthen India’s scholarly voice in global environmental dialogue and promote responsible action through knowledge.
All academic activities and publications under DARA are reviewed in accordance with the Nirmaya Foundation Charter and the Council for Research Ethics and Review (CRER).
